Welcome to Grade One!
Bienvenue au première année!

 Hello, my name is Mme. Borton and I would like to take a minute to welcome you to our classroom.  Grade one is an important year for your child, as this is the year when little Jimmy or Sue will be learning how to read, spell, and use addition.  This is also the year when they are at school for a full day, participating in recess, going on exciting field trips, creating huge projects, and making new friends.  I believe for your child to be successful, we all need to work together.  So please feel free to contact me whenever you have questions, concerns, or comments - I'm always here!  You can reach me in person (before and after school, as well as lunch), by phone (669-4482), or via email (aborton@wsd1.org)
